PROFILE
Graduated from Parsons School of Design, New York.
He has started his career at Issey Miyake in Tokyo, then has moved to Paris in 1991 to work for CERRUTI and then for Gucci by Tom Ford.
In 1995, he has moved to New York to be the Head Designer for Donna Karan Collection.
After having worked as a freelance designer / consultant for prestigious Italian Brands, he has become the Head Designer for JIL SANDER in 1999.
In 2000, he has become the Creative Director for allegri in Florence.
During the period, he has also consulted for the top European luxury brands such as Ermenegildo Zegna, and BURBERRY.
In 2012, he has become the Design / Creative Consultant for Calvin Klein Collection in New York.
In 2017, he has launched and has been the Creative Director for re:edition project 165, a collection based on Tokyo.
Since 2023, he has been appointed as the Artistic Director of Wolford.

東京のIssey Miyakeを経て1991年に渡仏。CERRUTI、Gucci by Tom Fordを経て1995年にニューヨークに渡りDonna Karan Collectionのチーフデザイナーとなる。
その後ニューヨークを拠点にフリーランスでニューヨーク、ミラノのブランドのデザインの後、1999年にハンブルグに渡りJIL SANDERのチーフデザイナーを勤める。
以来CREATICVE DIRECTORやCONSULTANTとしてBURBERRY, Ermenegildo Zegna, allegri,などのブランドに携わる。
2012年よりニューヨークにてCALVIN KLEIN COLLETIONのクリエイティブコンサルタントを務める。
2017年よりクリエイティブディレクターとしてre:edition project 165 を立ち上げる。
2023よりWolfordのアーティスティックディレクターに任命される。
